Each year at the National Orphan Train Complex, we celebrate Orphan Train Riders by hosting a conference that highlights different aspects of the Orphan Train Movement. Descendants, genealogists, and history-enthusiasts come from all over the United States to hear speakers present the newest research on the movement’s history. This year our theme is “Revealing Your Roots”.
